As part of the investment team, Vinayak’s responsibilities include sourcing, diligencing, and monitoring of hedge fund investments. He is also in charge of managing private equity investments. He served in a similar role at Weyerhaeuser Asset Management LLC.
Vinayak joined Weyerhaeuser Company in 2002 as an investment analyst before assuming the role of Project Director, Mergers and Acquisitions, followed by Director of Finance of a Weyerhaeuser Company division.
Prior to joining Weyerhaeuser, Vinayak held various technology development roles at Union Carbide Company, a subsidiary of Dow Chemical. He holds an M.B.A. with high distinction from the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Marshall University, and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a CFA charterholder.
